Summer is here and I cannot wait to spend my days at the beach. Summer is definitely my favorite season because there are a lot more things to do during this season. I would tell my friends that I was born to love hot weather and water. I love the beach and every summer, I would hit the beach with my surfboard. Furthermore, summer is the time to get to know new people. It is the season where most people go out instead of stay home and spend their time on game consoles and computer. I love outdoor activities, in fact even during winter; I would go out to entertain myself while my friends stay home.
The only thing that I hate about the dry, hot weather is that my skin is easily irritated. Because of my dry facial skin, I need to use several applications of moisturizing cream. In addition to that, I would need to put my sunscreen protection, which is one that is made specifically for people with dry skin. It is a good thing that there is such a product, if it did not exist, I would not be able to enjoy the sun as much as I do right now.
My friends and I have made plans to hit the beach with our surfboards tomorrow. That means I will need to shave my legs today. I cannot go out with the way my legs look like right now. It would be hilarious but I do not think my friends would appreciate it too. I would normally go out in long pants, but since it is summer and most girls are all in shorts and bikinis, I might as well look the part too. Shaving gives me another problem that I do not quite like and that is ingrown hairs. Ingrown hairs are a killer to get rid. I know a few methods to get rid of ingrown hairs but I still face some difficulties in removing the hair from under the skin.
A few months ago, I was in a hurry to remove the hair but it was taking too long for the tip of the hair to come to surface. Thus, I forced it out by squeezing the bump. After that, I got ready and went out with my friends. The next day, some of the areas started to itch and after several scratching sessions, the areas turn into scars. For that reason, I had to buy a scar cream to remove the scars from my legs. I was lucky that the cream was very good and within a few weeks, the scars started to fade. I would never squeeze any ingrown hair again after that experience.
